About the Course
TThe University of the Americas is offering the Spanish Language Program for beginners, intermediate and advanced students. This intensive one month course (80 hours), based on international academic standards, is an opportunity for students to improve their Spanish skills and discover Ecuador’s heritage, history and culture.
The course combines regular classes with cultural workshops, academic field trips and tourist activities. On Fridays we will feature educational outings to various parts of Quito, so students can practice their Spanish in real-life situations at some of the most attractive and traditional places in the city. After completing the course, students will receive a certificate.

Who can participate?
This course is for all students who want to learn or improve their Spanish skills. We have groups for Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced students. “Quiteños” speak clearly and have a very neutral accent, which makes studying Spanish in Quito easier than in other parts of Latin America. It is also a great opportunity to explore Ecuador and its spectacular landscapes, which include snow-capped volcanos, lush jungles and sunny beaches.

* UDLA Amigos are students from the university that organize activities for incoming exchange students, such us outings to night clubs, restaurants, trips outside the city or simply help you with your daily activities.
