Investigador de cáncer, regeneración y transdifferenciación celular. Obtuvo su título de doctorado en Ciencias Biomédicas en el año 2011 otorgado KULeuven en Bélgica. Desde el año 2012 ha trabajado como investigador postdoctoral en el laboratorio de Growth control and Cancer research de Georg Halder en KULeuven, Bélgica. Actualmente, se ha integrado a la Universidad de las Américas Quito (UDLA) donde continuará su investigación en cáncer y regeneración.
